you have located yourself here for a brief moment.....hello

I was looking for a drum machine and came across this....

"Political language . . . is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind." George Orwell

There has been a slight rupture in my typing these days, time tables, "things to do" lists have been spewing out from within my insides.
months have passed, passed on to that little storage facility, a canyon filled with thoughts.

My favorite English rock band has released their new album, "inrainbows", within the confines of their website for which ever price you deem fit. I paid 1 lb., but I do intend on finding it on vinyl once released.
not just good music for the fall, but the artists they pull in for their album covers are mint.

Two weeks have passed, intense is a lame word, but then again everything worth doing somehow always seems intense. I got a lot of new ideas out on the table, and I'm glad that, that is where they will stay, not in a graduate portfolio but rather in my back pocket, for my own mini slide show if you will. I have ideas about sitting against one corner of my wall with a coke in hand, putting down all the blinds, and projecting images of newer paintings up on the wall. Visual family vacation for one, all expenses paid. I've been feeling like crackers for the past few weeks if one could imagine.

It's good to have a plot. Watching people stagger into the library like dogs running in from the rain is a way to start.

Our world is being continuously rearranged around us in deceptively small increments. Though we like to pretend that the emerging new order is "normal," that daily life proceeds much as it always did, with a few small novel inconveniences, we keep on bumping uncomfortably into the furniture. The people of Austria give up freedom of speech, yet everyone speaks their minds, more openly at that as well. small deceptive increments on a level close to the red clearance signs posted everywhere.

The greatest military power in history has shackled its deadly hardware to the rhetoric of fundamentalist Christianity, with all its righteously simplistic moralism, in a war of "good against evil" and "freedom against fear."

what the hell happened....why do we stand for this while sitting down, we may as well staple our mouths shut and close our eyes. I'm not talking about taking a stance, I'm as well too busy for that, but seriously............it's depressing. the beat of the hollow bodied drum is set at a repetitive drowning tempo until finally someone has the guts to smash a hole through it.

but i'm a sucker for songs that feature kids in the background making some sort of noise, laughing or singing, crying or sleeping.

you could make the pigs disappear,
you could make the ducks run in fear,
making the subtle come alive,
while the tradesmen sell their sons and daughters,
to a town nearby.

We could take a break,
You and I could take a break,
didn't you once say
you need to get outta here?

(part one of new song I'm writing)

Something throughout the day tells me to look up in the sky more, "pay attention to the clouds boy!", "yeah, I know but why?" several times....I don't know for which reason yet though. The clouds are becoming more beautiful these days. Or maybe my eyesight is just going.

smokey gray tight jeans, black hoodie, smokey gray v-neck t-shirt, black scarf, double-breasted black jacket.......no I'm not talking about My Chemical Romance, but more about what I want my winter outfit to look like.

Close but no coconut, work is almost done. I'm off to the gym afterwards though, this kid needs to get his energy back. Two weeks on solid caffeine have torn holes in my wallet as well as in my stomach. The only remedy is to sweat it out, these bloody headaches are a nuisance.

Began work on the stop-motion project with mr. neal. Tracing paper is fun again, hell, drawing is fun again. Photoshop these days replace a lot of the pain when it comes to overlapping compositional drawings.
This is adding up is it not? maybe time for a break, rest those puffy eyes
cheers-
anthony
